The right consultant should understand both the regulation and the screen where the work happens.

Marko Dilber, Financial Aid consultant
About

I'm Marko Dilber, a Financial Aid leader specializing in Banner Financial Aid operations, compliance, and technology.

With more than 15 years of experience in higher education and financial aid administration, I help colleges and universities solve complex operational challenges that impact compliance, student service, and institutional efficiency.

My work focuses on the areas where Financial Aid and technology intersect: Banner Financial Aid setup, New Aid Year processing, SSB9 implementation, ISIR troubleshooting, packaging strategy, Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4), COD processing, Population Selections, SQL reporting, and workflow optimization.

I currently serve as Director of Financial Aid - Technology & Compliance, where I lead system strategy, compliance operations, staff development, and process improvement initiatives. I work closely across Financial Aid, IT, Registrar, Admissions, Business Office, and institutional leadership to ensure systems support both regulatory compliance and student success.

I hold NASFAA credentials in Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4), Verification, Student Eligibility, and Professional Judgment, and I bring hands-on experience, not just recommendations.

I do not believe in generic consulting reports that sit on a shelf. I focus on practical solutions that fix real problems, improve operations, reduce compliance risk, and help institutions better serve students.

My goal is simple: help Financial Aid offices run smarter, cleaner, and with greater confidence.
